Gary Rice (Jr), President
In partnership with his father, Gary started North Coast Patrol to provide private patrol and parking enforcement solutions that are not only customer-centric, but flavored by professionalism, reliability, honesty and excellence, characteristics that are often lacking in the industry. He has a hands-on, caring approach with his customers and is known for being accessible and responsive. He’s held a California Private Patrol Operator’s license since 1999, and he graduated, with honors, from California State University San Marcos with a degree in Literature and Writing Studies. His hobbies are running and writing.
Gary O. Rice, Vice-President
Gary has over 20 years experience in the private security industry. He’s known by our customers to be both approachable and accommodating, always willing to go the extra mile to address their needs and challenges. He’s an honorable U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and the depth of his experience brings a wealth of knowledge and perspective to our operational approach in dealing with communities experiencing criminal and undesirable activity. He’s an outdoorsman and enjoys camping, hunting, and wood craftwork.
Bretta Young, Operations Manager
Bretta has been employed with North Coast Patrol for over 16 years, starting in 2004 as a dispatcher and later being promoted as our Customer Service Operations Manager. Bretta’s responsibilities are numerous, but her prime responsibility is ensuring customer requests are communicated to the patrol staff for action; she serves as the conduit between customer and patrol officer. Bretta earned a degree in Psychology, and her hobbies in her off time are engaging in DIY projects.
